How to design your jewelry

  1. Step 1: Select a bracelet or necklace style
  2. Step 2: Select your beads
  3. Step 3: Assemble your jewelry

Step 1: Select a bracelet or necklace style

Chamilia offers necklace styles in a wide range of sizes: 16” choker (40.64 cm), 16.6” (42.2 cm), 17.5” (44.45 cm), 17.8” (45.21 cm), 19.7” (50.04 cm), 22” (55.88 cm), 28” (71.12 cm), 36” (91.44 cm) and 38” (96.52 cm).

Chamilia offers bracelet sizes in 6.0” (15.2 cm, w/lobster claw only), 6.7” (17 cm), 7.1” (18 cm), 7.5” (19.1 cm), 7.9” (20.1 cm), 8.3” (21.1 cm), 8.7” (22.1 cm), 9.1” (23.1 cm), and 9.5” (24.1 cm).

To make sure you select the right bracelet size, visit a Chamilia retailer or measure your wrist. To measure your own wrist, measure an existing bracelet or string that is long enough to fit comfortably around your wrist with enough space for two fingers between your wrist and the bracelet, so as to leave enough room to fill your bracelet with beads.

Step 2: Select your beads

Design your bracelet by a style, theme, color, or a combination of these. Combine three to four styles for a strong visual appeal.

Style:
- Sterling silver
- Mixed gold and silver
- Gold
- Italian Murano glass
- Crystals and stones
- Enamel
- Art glass
- Spacers
- Locks

Theme:
- Disney
- Family
- Romance
- Birthstones
- Objects and symbols
- Special occasions
- Flowers
- Travel
- And more…

Color:
- Pink
- Blue
- Green
- Purple
- Black
- Red
- White
- Brown/Beige
- And more…

Step 3: Assemble your jewelry

Thread beads on your bracelet by twisting each one onto the chain and finishing with a lock. Most often, locks are placed on each end of the bracelet to secure the beads. However, they can be used in other unique ways to create the final look you desire.

There are many ways to assemble your jewelry to create different looks.

  • Repeated pattern: Choose a series of three to four beads to repeat in a pattern for a well structured, balanced look.
  • Focal point: Select one bead to act as a central focal point.
  • Random: Choose your beads and place in any order for a whimsical touch.
  • Spacers are an inexpensive way to add to your bead collection and bring interest to your pattern.
